I worked in Dearborn for 14 years and I’ve had a lot of great Lebanese food but Baba’s is the best! I don’t work out there anymore and I miss Baba’s so much! Love it!
One of the best restaurants in town. Wonderful staff, delicious and fresh food and very reasonable prices.
I grew up in Detroit and have had Middle-Eastern food all over the world. I may have had a single dish better somewhere else but, on the whole, there is not a better place. Everything I have ever had at Baba’s has been very good and the baba ghanoush may be the best I have ever had anywhere…it really is that good.
Every time we’ve gone to babas grill the service is excellent the food is exceptionally delicious , everything is good and reasonably priced.
Staff was very welcoming, Shrimp Ghallaya was very good!
However I do feel staff needs to be better educated on understanding which options are Gluten-free
I was in town for work and our colleague Bilal recommended Baba’s Grill. The food was FANTASTIC, the hospitality was WARM and WELCOMING and we had a great time. We were served a variety of appetizers and they were all AMAZING. Our main courses were TASTY and portion sizes were ABUNDANT. Thank you for taking such good care of us!
All I can say is” Amazingly DELICIOUS !. I love this restaurant . Simple but beautiful decor. Immaculate. They treat you like you are a guest in their home. The presentation of the food is gorgeous! The food is so delicious. When you step out of your car the smell of the food in the parking lot gets you excited! You know it’s going to be good! Whenever I visit Dearborn, Michigan in the future, I will be dining at BaBas’! CJ from Cincinnati
This was the BEST Lebanese food I’ve ever had…and I’m half Lebanese. Better than my Sitto (God rest her soul) and her sister’s cooking. The restaurant was clean, which was a bonus!
My Husband and I enjoyed a fantastic meal and Excellent service! We will definitely return to this restaurant!
I only gave this 5 stars because that’s all there are. This place has off the charts great food and reasonable prices. My family begs to hit Baba’s every time we come over from the west side. We hunted it down after the Amani location closed. Favorite foods are kibbeh, bread, fatoush, baba ganoush and pickled turnips. Oh and grilled veggies and shawarma.
Visiting from NY and enjoyed the vegetarian combination for four. The food was fresh, varied and plentiful. The meal included hummus, baba ganoush, house made fresh flat bread, pickled veg, lemony stuffed grape leaves, falafel … It was tasty and we received friendly and attentive service from our server Moe. Definitely worth a stop after visiting the Arab American museum.
I can to Michigan for spring break and we went to Detroit so I could see around. We found your restaurant while driving around and decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken cilantro and it was the best meal I had my entire trip! I’m sad y’all are 500 miles away. You should make a store in Ga! And thank you for introducing me to toum! It’s amazing. If you ever decide to share you chicken cilantro recipe I would be ever so happy so I can make it down here!
